We are a group of young people with the same passion: kitesurfing. It is exactly this passion that led us to create the amateur sports club Kitesafari ASD, where everyone can become a member. Our main goal is to make kitesurfing accessible to everyone and to share our passion with as many people as possible.

Our team consists of trained kitesurf instructors with years of experience around water sports, fitness and yoga. Everyone is passionate about sharing their experience with you so that you can learn quickly and return after each session with a smile on your face. Get to know our entire team. Opis wyjazdu

Kitecruise Sardinia

Sardinia attracts not only with white sandy beaches and Caribbean water colors but also with warm temperatures and constant winds. Maestrale, Scirocco, Levnate and Grecale are our companions and bring us with our catamaran to the most beautiful spots in the north of Sardinia. In the Strait of Bonifacio between Corsica and Sardinia a jet effect provides us with additional wind.

This trip is suitable for intermediate and advanced riders. For beginners only conditionally suitable because we partly kite at somewhat more difficult spots where you should be able to run safely upwind.

Our trip starts in the bay „Cala dei Sardi“, 15km north of Olbia. It north to the breathtaking archipelago „La Maddalena“ with its numerous islands and through the Strait of Bonifacio, the strait between Sardinia and Corsica to Bonifacio in Corsica. On the way we will pass numerous well known and less known spots. Where we anchor and kite depends heavily on the wind and weather conditions and is determined by our skipper Mareike from day to day.

Plan wyjazdu

Day 1 Saturday: Arrival day at the port
If you arrive by plane, we will pick you up at Olbia airport. Our driver will be waiting for you at the exit of the
arrivals area. Just look for the “KITESAFARI.EU” logo. We will then take you to “Cala dei Sardi”, 15 minutes away,
where our catamaran is moored in the harbour. We spend the first night in the marina and go to dinner in one
of the surrounding restaurants. If you are planning a road trip, you can also come to Sardinia by car or with your
van. There are numerous ferry connections from Genoa, Livorno, Piombino and Civitavecchia directly to Olbia.
Your car can be parked in the paid car park (80€ per week) at the pier.
Check-in on the catamaran is possible from 17:00 until 07:00 on Sunday. If you arrive before 17:00, you can spend
the day sunbathing and swimming in the marina.

Day 2-6: on the open sea
On the morning of the second day, after breakfast and a briefing, we set sail at around and head north to the the
first Spot where we will kite. We will spend the next few days in the north of Sardinia and the south of Corsica.
We will plan the exact route together every day, depending on the wind and weather. Possible spots for kiting
are Tavolara, Porto Pollo, Isola Piana, Le Saline, Santa Maria and many more. A special highlight of the tour is the
entrance to Bonifacio on Corsica, where we spend one night and dive into the nightlife.

Day 7 Friday: In the harbour
On the penultimate day, we enter “Cala dei Sardi” again at around 17:00 and spend our last night on board.

Day 8 Saturday: Departure day
“Check out is at 08:00. If you have to go to the airport, we will get you there on time.

Dodatkowe opcje

Rental equipment Our rental equipment is state of the art and meets all safety standards. Independent kiters
who do not take part in a course or a camp must have at least the level of ” upwind kiting” (IKO Level 3 or VDWS
Level 5). The rental equipment is not insured. Damage caused by improper use must be borne by the hirer. Many
liability insurance policies cover this. Find out in advance whether your liability insurance will cover such damage.
If your insurance does not cover this, we recommend taking out the VDWS Safetytool directly with the VDWS.
